Charlie is a third year DPhil student at Worcester using cavity enhanced spectroscopic techniques for plasma diagnostics. Her research has predominantly focussed on the use of CRDS to spatially resolve low-pressure nitrogen, oxygen, and argon plasmas. More recently, this work has been coupled with 2D plasma modelling simulations, utilising the VizGlow software package.
Charlie also completed her Part II in the group and was awarded a proxime part II thesis prize for her work quantifying the species-specific spatial variation of number densities in nitrogen plasma.
